I purchased a 1998 Toyota Regius because of Toyota's reputation for reliability and solid build from that era. The van was high spec for it's age. The 3.0 Deisel turbo engine is a very good unit very responsive and effortless to drive. I'm going to convert it to a camper they are great vehicles to use as campers as they have a sun roof and a moon roof and electric blinds. Overall I feel confident with a Toyota vehicle had a Hiace as a courier from brand new did 540,000 Ks with not a single engine failure.
